What is your refund/cancellation policy?

Because we make everything fresh just for you, all orders are non-refundable. For our custom orders, we take the time to start investing in your order the minute it is made, and most custom orders require us to purchase and use items solely for your order. If you need to change the date on your order, we are happy to accommodate as our schedule allows, with at least 2 weeks advance notice on cupcake orders and 5 weeks on cake orders.

A non-refunadabe deposit of 50% is due at time of order placement on orders of $600 or more. Balance is due in full 5 weeks before the event. On orders less than $600 the full balance is due when the order is placed.

If an order is not picked up on the day of delivery or delivery is denied, the client is still responsible for the remaining balance. Cake Affection will make every attempt to contact the client in the event of a missed pickup date or denied delivery.  No changes can be made to invoices less than five weeks prior to delivery date. Please note  delivery/setup time is final as noted on your invoice/ contract. Changes to delivery/setup must be confirmed no later than 5 weeks prior to event.

We take limited custom orders so that we can give each client the attention their order deserves. This means that when we book your event, we are likely turning away other clients especially during holidays and busy wedding seasons. We know that you'll appreciate that we value quality over quantity when your special day comes. Because of this, we ask that you book as early as possible one you know that you'd like Cake Affection to be a part of your special event.

How long will my Cake/Cupcakes last?

Everything in our bakery is made by hand, from scratch and fresh for you daily. We always say cake is the best within 24 hrs, however if you keep your cakes properly you can keep them for up to 3 days. Always leave cake at room temperature unless storing for over 24 hrs. we recommend putting your cupcakes/cake into an airtight container, then allowing them to set out at room temp. for 4-5 hours before enjoying.

Do you offer delivery?

We do offer delivery on all large event orders within 8 miles of our store for a $20 delivery fee. For Delivery and set up the fee is $75. Outside our delivery area, there is a $50 flat fee plus $2.00/mile round trip. 

Cupcakes/Cakes are NOT created equal

At Cake Affection, we make all of our cakes/cupcakes and sweets to order. That means we’re baking them when you order them — no frozen products here! We only use fresh ingredients, including real butter, milk, flour, sugar and eggs!  Real fresh fruits and nuts, and we create everything by hand and in small batches. You'll be able to see why we are changing the way you think of cake at one bite.

Do you ship your cupcakes?

At this time, we are only able to ship our cupcakes in a jar... and they are a delicious treat to send to those you love! Check them out on our "Order Cupcakes" page.
